April MCWC Update

Here’s what you need to KNOW | PRAY | GIVE | GO for Mid Cities Women’s Clinic:

KNOW

  • In mid-February, MCWC started the abortion pill reversal process where if women decide to have a chemical abortion and take a series of pills, this reversal pill that MCWC now offers reverses the effects of the first pill that terminates life. If staff from MCWC are able to reach the woman early enough, there is a greater than 60% chance of saving the pregnancy, especially if administered in the first 24-72 hours. After the reversal pill is administered, the clinic will schedule follow up visits with the woman to see how the pregnancy is progressing. MCWC has Google ads for women seeking the reversal pill and the clinic is part of a national hot line service where women can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Additional updates to the Haslet Clinic will open the beginning of June 2025. While there is no official opening date yet, MCWC will invite church partners to come to the clinic to pray and write scriptures on the wall.

  • Abortions are up in Texas in spite of the change in Roe v. Wade. Mid Cities Women's Clinic also offers post abortion support and services online or in a one-on-one environment.

PRAY

  • Pray for the women who are seeking services from Mid Cities Clinic and that they are supported and loved during their pregnancies.

  • Pray for the men who are at the clinic to support their partners during the pregnancy.

  • Pray for women and men who have experienced an abortion and that they are able to find resources and support.
