We Love kids at wellspring

The Scriptures teach that “from the mouths of babes, you have ordained praise” (Ps. 8:2), and that “your sons and your daughters shall prophesy” (Acts 2:17).

Children have too much potential for us to merely babysit them. We teach them to grow in their friendship with God, just like we teach the adults. But we do so in a way that connects with their specific age group, employing drama, puppets, crafts, music, and much more.

Most of our Children’s Ministry happens on Sunday mornings during Kids Bible Fellowship Groups (9 am) and Kids Church (10:30 am). We also offer a program called, “River Guides”, where we train our older kids (4 th -6 th graders) to minister to the younger kids.

Kids Check In

Check-in begins 15 minutes before our Worship Experience, and it’s for every age, from infant to 6 th grade (7 th grade and older join us in the Worship
Center). Our process for check-in is quick, safe, and easy. There are two check-in stations in our Foyer, and there are more in our well-labeled Kids’ Check-in area, a few doors down from the Worship Center. All of our Kids
Ministry Volunteers wear Wellspring aprons so that you can easily identify them and ask for help. Every Kids Ministry Volunteer is required to have a background check to ensure that your kiddos are in good hands.

If your children are infant-K, they will be in Kids Church for the duration of the service. If your children are in 1st-6th grade, they will join the adults for worship. Why? Because we find that the best way for children to learn how to worship is by watching their parents.

After worship, our 1st-6th graders will be dismissed and escorted to Kids Church by our Kids Ministry Volunteers in Wellspring aprons, where they will learn to grow in a friendship with God in a way that engages them. Use your parent security pick-up tag (which will match the number on your children’s nametags) to pick up your children in their Kids Church classrooms.

In addition to Kids Church, we also have a Nursing Mother’s Room for moms who need a quiet space to feed & care for their little ones. Our Nursing Mother’s Room features comfortable seating, soft lighting, a changing station, and a video feed of the service, so you don’t need to miss anything that is happening during our Worship Experience.
