Worship and Video Director
Stacey Barefield
Stacey has been a member of Wellspring since the summer of 2005, and an active participant in the worship team since 2007. She has worked in lots of areas of worship from the youth-led children’s band, the Youth worship team, and main Sunday-morning worship team, eventually taking the role of Worship Director in December of 2017.
Stacey studied music business and classical guitar at DBU, and has played for many different musical acts and studio projects including the former folk band Secondhand Fire, founded with her brother, James. She teaches a variety of private lessons ranging from piano and guitar, to ukulele and mandolin.
Stacey’s work life and personal life is filled to the brim with music, but she also enjoys many other art projects including painting and woodburning.

What is your favorite family tradition?
My family likes to divert from the typical “holiday food” by the time Christmas rolls around. We often have Mexican food 🙂
Who is your least favorite superhero and why?
Hulk is not my favorite. Superman. Everything’s too easy for him

Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.” Psalms 139:7â€-‬10
If you were trapped in a zombie apocalypse and you were only allowed one weapon to defend yourself, what weapon would that be?
I would want something long-range for safety reasons. We might have to go with a bow and arrow.
